The day the brand new year starts

Awal Muharram. Today is a very joyful day for us Muslim. It is the start of Muslim year or calendar, Muharram, coincides with Prophet Muhammad's journey from Mecca to Medina on the first of Muharram in 622AD. This is the start of a brand new year and i am praying to be better in everything. InsyaAllah. So to all the my Muslim friends, Selamat menyambut Awal Muharram!

The day of the clause

It was my birthday yesterday on the eve of Christmas. I had a great time. One the way back home on the stroke of midnight, my dear Fuad and two of my colleague Ejean and Yong Pin sang me the happy birthday song. Ejean even sang the song twice. One with "happy birthday to ida rahayu~" and the other one with "happy birthday to ida nexus!~" Hehe.. Thanks a lot guys!!! ^^

Also for the birthday i got a ferrero rocher from Akob, high fibre biscuits from Faren and a very nice hentai-ish (ehem~) drawing from Yuki! Thank youuuuuu!!! Later on we finally opened up the Maple 3d puzzle which Uncle Burhanuddin and Ehsan bought from Korea. Putting the puzzles together was fun. With most of my friends helping, it somehow felt like a group of kids playing with their new toy.^^ I've uploaded the pictures to my Facebook page, go have a look!

Its complicated

Watching the latest episode of Gossip Girl, i cant help but thinking about how all of the characters are related to each other. (Spoilers ahead)

Okay, lets have a case study, shall we? First off we have Serena and Dan. They are an on-off couple. Dan's dad Rufus and Serena's mom Lily were sweethearts. Lily is now (happily?) married with Bart Bass, the father of Chuck Bass which makes Serena, Chuck's step sister. Chuck Bass is the best friend of Nate Archibald, Serena's ex-boyfriend. Nate has the hots for Little J, Jenny Humphrey, Dan's little sister, which makes Dan's best friend, Vanessa, jealous. And who could forget the queen B, Miss Blair Waldorf, Serena's best friend and most of us know she loves Chuck. Blair's mom, Eleanor is a fashion designer and Jenny Humphrey did an internship there before Mrs Waldorf is using Jenny's designs to get buyers. Eleanor is dating Cyrus Rose, the father of Aaron Rose, the guy Serena is dating at the moment.

Complicated or not, i'm still pulled to watch this series to watch what the characters would wear. Pretty~ ^^

I am so loving this look. Well i can't wear the watch or earring or bracelet or the ring because im allergic to all things metal/leather/plastic ( seriously, i will get skin rashes if i wear those...GAH!) oh well i think without all those the outfit still looks nice ^_^
